Massive Attack — Massive Attack joined No Music for Genocide by seeking to geo-block its music in Israel; separately, it sought worldwide removal from Spotify over Daniel Ek’s investment in military-AI company Helsing.
Björk — (singer) — joined the campaign to block her music in Israel; posted anti-Israel content.
Julian Casablancas — (The Strokes) — signed a boycott letter; made a widely-criticized remark about “American Zionists.”
Nicolas Jaar — (musician) — used a Coachella stage to accuse Israel of genocide, apartheid, and ethnic cleansing.
Macklemore — Macklemore called Israel’s campaign “genocide” at a November 2023 rally and released the pro-Palestinian protest song “Hind’s Hall” in May 2024.
Vic Mensa — (rapper) — published a TIME op-ed framing Israel as denying Palestinians their human rights.
Elvis Costello — (musician) — canceled two Israel concerts following boycott calls.
Thurston Moore — (Sonic Youth) — canceled a Tel Aviv concert for the BDS cultural boycott.

Film & television

Mel Gibson — During a 2006 DUI arrest Gibson said “The Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world” and later apologized; a separate 1995 remark alleged by Winona Ryder is disputed by his representative.
Nick Cannon — ViacomCBS ended its relationship with Cannon in July 2020 over statements it described as hateful speech and antisemitic conspiracy theories; he apologized and was invited to rejoin the Wild ’N Out team in February 2021.
Susan Sarandon — (actress) — dropped by her talent agency over remarks at a pro-Palestinian rally.
Melissa Barrera — (actress) — dropped from “Scream” over posts the studio called antisemitic.
Tilda Swinton — (actress) — publicly praised BDS and signed the film-industry boycott pledge.
Danny Glover — (actor) — backed the cultural and academic boycott of Israel.
Ken Loach — Loach and colleagues publicly endorsed BDS and directed proceeds from the Israeli distribution of “I, Daniel Blake” to Palestinian organizations after consultation with the BDS movement.
Kneecap — A member was filmed saying “Up Hamas, up Hezbollah” while displaying a Hezbollah flag; the group denies supporting either organization. Related UK proceedings ended without a conviction.
