  • July 18, 2017 — In a Guardian letter, Loach and colleagues wrote, “We fully support the aims of the BDS movement,” and said proceeds from the film’s Israeli distribution would go to grassroots Palestinian organizations after consultation with that movement. Our opinion: Even the money from an Israeli release had to be routed away from Israel on principle. We don’t stand with it.
