The Ledger

We're Galil Coffee — unapologetically pro-Israel. The Ledger is our sourced record of public statements, votes, pledges, campaigns, and commercial actions by public figures, brands, and institutions.

What the labels mean

The Ledger separately records explicit antisemitic conduct, BDS or boycott activity, institutional action, and other public advocacy. Support for Palestinian rights or criticism of an Israeli government policy does not, by itself, prove antisemitism. When Galil draws a broader conclusion from a one-sided public record, we label that conclusion as our opinion.

Evidence standard

  • Public conduct only — no private individuals and no guessing about private beliefs or motives.
  • Dated and linked — original statements, votes, policies, pledges, or accountable reporting.
  • Fact and opinion stay separate — factual sections describe what happened; Galil's interpretation is labeled.
  • Corrections remain visible — apologies, retractions, and contrary evidence are added to the same record. If the entire basis is invalidated, the entry leaves active directories but its correction history remains.
