On the record
- American Studies Association (ASA) — December 2013, members voted (about 66%) to endorse the boycott. [ASA]
- Association for Asian American Studies — April 2013, the first U.S. academic association to endorse the boycott. [USACBI]
- American Anthropological Association (AAA) — 2023, members voted to boycott Israeli academic institutions. [JTA]
- Middle East Studies Association (MESA) — members voted to endorse the BDS movement. [USACBI]
- African Literature Association, Association for Humanist Sociology, Critical Ethnic Studies Association, National Association of Chicana and Chicano Studies, Native American and Indigenous Studies Association, and the Peace and Justice Studies Association have all endorsed the academic boycott of Israel. - UAW Local 2865 (University of California student workers) and UAW Local 2110 GSOC (NYU graduate students) — endorsed the boycott. [USACBI]
