• November 2023: On October 15-16, 2023, supermodel Gigi Hadid posted to her tens of millions of Instagram followers that "there is nothing Jewish about the Israeli government's treatment of Palestinians"; weeks later, on Instagram in November 2023, she claimed Israel had "abducted, raped and tortured Palestinians for years" before October 7 and shared a video claiming Israelis had "harvested the organs of dead Palestinians" without their consent. There is nothing Jewish about the Israeli government's treatment of Palestinians. Condemning the Israeli government is not antisemitic and supporting Palestinians is not supporting Hamas. Where Galil stands

Our opinion: We don't stand with a platform of tens of millions of followers being used to assert unverified atrocity claims about Israel as flat fact — especially when the only apology that followed corrected a mislabeled photo, not the claims themselves.
