• May 31, 2024: On May 31, 2024, Kehlani released the music video for "Next 2 U," opening with a poem by Hala Alyan and the rallying cry "Long Live The Intifada," and including a title card dedicating the video to the memory of Palestinian children killed in Gaza; the video and related social-media posts led Cornell University president Michael Kotlikoff to cancel her scheduled May 7, 2025 Slope Day concert, stating on April 23-25, 2025 that she "has espoused antisemitic, anti-Israel sentiments in performances, videos, and on social media." Where Galil stands
