Documented record

  • May 16, 2016: In a video interview reported on May 16, 2016, then-world heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury said people are being "brainwashed by all the Zionist Jewish people who own all the banks, all the papers, all the TV stations," prompting a formal complaint from the Campaign Against Antisemitism. Everyone just do what you can. Listen to the government. Follow everybody like sheep. Be brainwashed by all the Zionist Jewish people who own all the banks, all the papers, all the TV stations. Context and response

Fury apologized shortly after, stating "I apologize to anyone who may have taken offence at any of my comments" and "I am in no way a racist or bigot," saying as "a Christian man" hurting people was not his intent.
