Ms. Rachel (Rachel Accurso): Where She Stands

Ms. Rachel (Rachel Accurso) is a children's educator with tens of millions of followers who became a prominent public voice for Palestinian children — and whose Instagram account liked an openly antisemitic comment.

On the record

  • 2024 — Participated in a Save the Children fundraiser for children in conflict zones including Gaza, and became a prominent public advocate for Palestinian children. [Times of Israel]
  • 2026 — Her Instagram account liked a comment that read "Free America from the Jews," posted under one of her posts. She said she meant to delete the comment and pressed "like" by accident, and she apologized. The media watchdog HonestReporting rejected that explanation, saying it fit "a broader public pattern." [Variety]
  • The full record — She has also publicly named Israeli hostages, posting Kfir Bibas's photo on his birthday and calling for the Bibas family's release, and released a song praying for "children in Gaza, children in Israel, and all the hostages." [Jerusalem Post]

Where Galil stands

Our opinion: We've laid out the whole record, apology included, and we're not going to pretend otherwise: we don't believe you accidentally like a comment that says "Free America from the Jews." For us, that's a one-way door. We don't stand with her.
