• August 2024 — Wrote on X of Leo Frank — convicted in 1913, lynched in 1915 after his death sentence was commuted, and posthumously pardoned in 1986 without the board addressing guilt or innocence — “Leo Frank raped & murdered a 13-year-old girl. The context

Wilson was appointed a Pentagon deputy press secretary in January 2025 and press secretary in May 2025. She has not retracted the posts and has defended them.

Our opinion: A sitting Pentagon spokesperson recycled the exact libel that neo-Nazis built around Leo Frank’s murder. We don’t stand with her.
