Jeremy Corbyn: On the Record

Under Jeremy Corbyn’s leadership, the UK’s official equality watchdog found the Labour Party broke the law over antisemitism.

On the record

  • October 2020 — The Equality and Human Rights Commission, a UK government body, found Labour under Corbyn acted unlawfully over antisemitism, citing political interference in complaints and 23 instances of “inappropriate involvement” by his office. [BBC]
  • October 2020 — Was suspended from Labour after saying the scale of antisemitism in the party had been “dramatically overstated.” [BBC]

Where Galil stands

Our opinion: It is a rare thing for a government body to rule that a major political party broke anti-discrimination law over antisemitism. It happened on his watch. We don’t stand with him.
