• November 3, 2022: On November 3, 2022, Dutch State Secretary Eric van der Burg banned David Icke from the Netherlands and the entire Schengen Area for two years ahead of a planned Amsterdam rally, citing a threat to public order rooted in his record of antisemitic conspiracy theories (including a 2020 video in which he suggested a Jewish group was behind the coronavirus outbreak); a Haarlem court upheld the ban as lawful in September 2023 and again in December 2024, the latter ruling citing his role in spreading "old antisemitic narratives repackaged in a modern form." Context and response

Icke denies antisemitism, saying his "reptilian ruling elite" theory is not about Jews; the rally's organizer, Samen voor Nederland, said it conducted its own review and "determined Icke was not an anti-Semite."
