Documented record

  • August 13, 2017: On August 13, 2017, on The Alex Jones Show following the Charlottesville "Unite the Right" rally, Alex Jones claimed the white-supremacist/KKK marchers were secretly Jewish actors staging the event to discredit white nationalists. I've been to these events, a lot of the KKK guys with their hats off look like they're from the cast of Seinfeld... Literally, they're just Jewish actors. Source 1 Source 2

Context and response

In the same broadcast Jones added the qualifier "Nothing against Jews in general, but they are leftist Jews that want to create this clash," attempting to narrow the claim to "leftist" Jews rather than Jews as a whole — though the underlying claim (a staged Jewish false-flag operation) is itself the classic antisemitic conspiracy trope, so this does not negate the entry.

Where Galil stands

Our opinion: We don't stand behind public figures who push conspiracy theories casting a hate-crime rally as a staged Jewish false-flag operation.
